The Nintendo DS is a new thing at Le Louvre. This year, they replaced the old autoguide with the DS. There’s a special promotion for Les Amis Du Louvre. Actually, The autoguide is free from September to December for the museum pass holders, and 5 euros for other visitors. The DS give you many options: To listen to comments of historians and specialists on some of the artworks; To follow one of the 3 paths that are suggested by the museum; To select one of the 50 “incontournables” and be guided by the GPS to the artwork at the shortest distance. The DS also allows you to find restaurants, washrooms, etc. Seriously, this DS made my visit much more fun!
So Today after work, I had to buy some home products: Scott towels, toilet papers, shampoo and hair conditioner (My hair is getting really dry… I don’t know if it’s because of the new shampoo brand that I bought from Montreal, or the hair dryer I’m using here, or the Japanese straightening that was badly done). I went to Monoprix which is 5 minutes away from my apartment. Monoprix is a major French retail chain with many stores around France. It sells food, hardware, clothing, household items, make-up etc.

Oh by the way, I heard that my first batch of postcards is delivered! I’m very surprisingly happy that the mail system is so quick! I mailed them on Sunday and it’s already delivered on Wednesday! I’m amazed.
Oh, je vois pourquoi tu as un DS maintenant, mais est-ce que c'est bloqué. Si tu as des jeux, tu peux jouer avec la DS? C'est pas mal cool l'utilité de ta DS.
ReplyDeleteLe logo de "Monoprix" est comme Monopoly. Je trouve que ce magasin est comme Wal-Mart. En passant, est-ce qu'il y a Wal-Mart à Paris?
Pour la pancarte, je pense que les garçons sont trop sages pour se faire tenir les mains.

No, Monoprix is much smaller than a Walmart, but it sells similar things!
