Monday after work, I went to restaurant Chez Chartier with my MTL colleagues. Actually, Melissa got some visits from other MTL colleagues and we all went to have supper all together. It was fun to see them here. About the restaurant, it’s a large authentic French bistro. The décor was quite nice and the price was cheap. I ordered a plate of six escargots as appetizer, then I had duck confit. We were nine people and ordered 4 bottles of red wine and 1 bottle of white wine. I was really full after my meal so did not have any place for desserts.
After supper, it was about 10pm. I wanted to go “home” cuz I was quite tired, but they were all going to the bar. In order to make me go with them, Guillaume promised me he’s going to write the next post for me if I join them. It’s quite a good deal! I accepted the offer so he has to write Day 58 for me. hahahaha
We went to an Australian bar. I don’t like beer so I ordered a cider. Melissa got me a treat for the second round (really nice of her!) and the bartender (or owner) also paid us all a shooter. We stayed so late that I missed the last metro. >.< So for the first time of my life, I took the taxi by myself. For the 7 minutes drive, it costs me 10.70€. Not too bad.
